The Ahir College, Rewari (ACR)  founded in 1945 is one of the oldest educational institution serving Southern Haryana and affiliated to MD University, Rohtak. Rao Birender Singh Ex-Chief Minister and Union Agriculture Minister of India articulated his vision of distinctive institution against the back drop of regional history and in the context of the aspirations and needs of contemporary society of joint Haryana and Punjab. The Ahir College, a non profiting, independent institution of higher education has yielded more than fifty years of fruitful service which integrates liberal studies and professional education to give its graduates both breadth and specialization.

It is my privilege to communicate with you through this website. I know, many of you are the important part of ACR glorious past and feel proud of the growth and development of the institution. Hence to fulfill the dreams of one and all I along with team of youthful and dedicated Teachers under the able guidance of our chairman Rao Birender Singh Ji are creating environment in which teaching-learning process has the essence of 'Nalanda' and 'Texila' with blend of modern technology and Indian values. We are working hard to provide maximum facilities to students necessary for their all-round development. We have invested heavily not only in renovating the old infrastructure and its efficient maintenance but in developing proper academic atmosphere, conference room, central library, Departmental Libraries, water management system, eco-friendly environment, electric generation unit, computer lab, Office automation products upkeep of grounds and lawns, purchase of apparatus and instruments. Besides this we are running many students welfare schemes for needy and deserving students.

We congratulate our students since they have not let down us as evident from their achievements in University exams, University sports tournaments and other co-curricular activities.
